A Story of Healing

Holly Million raised principal funding for A Story of Healing, the 1997 Academy-Award winner for best short-subject documentary. The film features the work of Interplast, a nonprofit organization whose medical volunteers provide free reconstructive surgery for disfigured children and young adults in developing countries. A Story of Healing follows a team of Interplast’s volunteer surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to Vietnam, where they help to fulfill one young patient’s dream. In addition to receiving an Oscar, A Story of Healing was nationally broadcast on PBS.
