The Emmy Award-winning weekly PBS teen science series Real Science! takes
America’s young viewers out for a day on-the-job with science
professionals. Broadcast on PBS since 1994, each thirty-minute episode
features teen reporters getting a real-life glimpse into the exciting
careers of working mentor scientists, as well as Action Tips for
pursuing a similar career. In addition, each show features challenging
Action Labs—hands-on science experiments that can be done at
home or in school. Real Science! was created and executive
produced for PBS station KTEH by Maura Daly Phinney. Chris Million
was director of photography and segment producer.
